Memorial Service for Yadkin Confederate Veterans

Yadkinville Cemetery

The Yadkin Gray Eagles Camp # 1765 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans invites all to a special Confederate Memorial Day observance at the Yadkinville Cemetery in Yadkinville.

Several Veterans of Confederate and NC Militia & Home Guard service are buried there.

The stories of the Confederate Veterans buried there will be shared as 2014 marks another year of the 150th Anniversary of the War Between the States.

Local musicians, Danny & Eva Casstevens, will provide plenty of heart warming period music for the occasion.

War Between the States re-enactors will honor Confederate Veterans from Yadkin County with a special period volley salute.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
