Are you looking for reliable, free tax help this tax season? The IRA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) has assistance available at branches of the Northwestern Regional Libraries to help individual prepare 2015 tax returns. Tax preparation is available for low to moderate income taxpayers (gross household income less than $54,000), elderly taxpayers, and taxpayers with disabilities, limited English proficiency, or military. VITA site hours are by appointment only. Call to schedule your appointment.

Boonville Public Library -- Mondays 2:00 pm-6:00 pm and Tuesdays 11:00 am-3:00 pm. This site will be closed Monday, March 28th for the Easter holiday. Call 336-367-7737.

East Bend Public Library -- Mondays 3:00 pm-7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am-12:00 am. This site will be closed, Monday, March 28th for the Easter holiday. Call the East Bend Senior Center at 336-699-5100.

Yadkin County Public Library -- Wednesday and Thursdays 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Call 336-679-8792.
