This and basically every single argument that has ever been made against raising the minimum wage has been used every single time it's come up. And yet the argument has failed to match reality every single time. It has such a poor track record that one must wonder why it keeps getting used at all.

Yes you do and if you understood my post you would understand that is exactly what happens. Increasing the minimum wage is not something we would be doing in a vacuum we have ample data based on increases here and around the world that show it results in more economic growth.

She's actually right. I know its counter intuitive but understand how an economy works. Lets Treat it like an internal combustion engine for a moment.
The fuel supply then would be consumer demand. The spark plugs are innovation and investment and economic growth is the result of the engine turning. I know this is very simplified but it covers the important basics.
We know that increasing the minimum wage will not only increase wages for those people but will have the effect of increasing wages up to around 100k with a diminishing return the higher up you go. Most of the people who will see those wage increases will spend that money on a number of things increasing consumer demand and doing so long term.
When long term consumer demand rises employers must either expand staff in order to meet that demand or loose business to someone else who is.

empowers, sure you are a woman. It's still a fact that most Trump supporters are older white (racist? bigoted?) men. That aside, Trump himself has plenty of biases and plenty of crazy ideas.
I thought you had your fill of that kind of men. I'm serious. You imply that you've been in relationships with bullies and that you had to fight to survive.
