Fix,

You might look at the following link, this says the following. A permit is not needed for the town to burn.

http://infohouse.p2ric.org/.../00482.htm

Is a Permit Needed?

State open burning permits are not needed in the following situations:

Burning greater than 500 feet from any woodland, Burning closer than 100 feet to an occupied dwelling, Burning inside a municipal city limits
    What cannot be burned:

Only leaves, branches, and other plant growth can be burned. If public pickup is available, the leaves and branches should not be burned. It is illegal to burn the following materials:

Garbage, paper, and cardboard Tires and other rubber products Building materials, including lumber Wire, plastics, and synthetic materials Asphalt shingles and heavy oils Paints, household and agricultural chemicals
The town should not be burning these.

Landowners can burn vegetation to clear land or rights-of-way, provided:

Prevailing winds are away from built-up areas and roads, Burning occurs between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Fires are at least 1,000 feet away from occupied buildings.

Constitutional, like most of your comments you are delusional and a certified conspiracy theorist. Several of us have attempted to provide fixit with some reasonable steps to follow to have their concerns addressed on a broader scale.

The alternative media is a viable choice. Heck with the lame stream liar media. Contact infowars, rense, beforeitsnews, activistspost, and many others. A large audience of sympathetic people await. Not to mention it may open your eyes to the level of treason that is taking place everywhere. Learn of Agenda 21 and the un small arms treaty that kerry illegally sighed without our Senates ratification. Dec 24 it is set for implementation. Obamanation is subverting Our Constitution regularly and most of congress is complicit. It;s enough to piss you off and what 'I' ve stated is only a fraction of the level of corruption. America is in great danger from many fronts and eventually armed conflict will be all that is left to us. Pray for peace, but arm to defend your lives. This community will not be a pushover in such a scenario thankfully.

If you reached out the yadkin ripple you wasted your time. They like all other tiny newspapers wont print anything controversial like this.

You have to use the angel with the winston media that you and your rights are being trampled on and they are your only resource. You have to lay all of your proof out for them too.

Didn't mean to create any confusion, just wanted to be sure that everyone understands that the Town Meeting was nothing compared to their other actions; "Illegal Burning of Collected Refuse" and "Illegal Burning of Brush".

I have reached out to some local media, waiting see what comes from it; currently, I cannot say either way, will keep you posted on it.

fixit, why did you start a new thread? How has it gone contacting regional media and the appropriate state authorities about this?

Governments large and small all have the 'do as I say, not as I do' mentality. The day is fast approaching when we the people will collectively say, 'NO.' It'll be a great day! But not for those that would be our masters.

What bothers me the most about all of this is the fact that I would complain about the smell and the fact that the Town of Boonville would burn in the evening and at night, when no one was present; every time I would call and complain, a Boonville Town Commissioner (not be named presently) would call me back and say, "We have the right to "burn" and will continue to do so, there is nothing you can do about it". (It turns out that no City, Town, Municipality, or Corporation can burn anything, not even brush without a special permit from the State of NC).

If I had only pushed harder and sooner over this situation, I would not have 2 questions that keep me up every single night since I finally caught them Illegally Burning Collected Refuse:
      1. My mother passed away at my home, the summer she passed away, I had called twice to complain about the smell from the "Burning" that a Town Commissioner had wrongfully informed me of the "Towns Right to Burn". Would my mother still be alive, did my lack of pushing cut my mothers life short?
      2. The day I called and reported an "Unattended, Open Fire", my wife and grandchildren were playing in the backyard, when I arrived, they all immediately asked about going inside because the smoke was burning their eyes and made it "feel funny to breath". Will my wife, children, and grandchildren suffer from any "Long Term" health issues over the continued exposure to all the toxins from this Illegal Burning?

I would rather die ten thousand deaths than to know that my inactions over this for years caused any of the above; I don't know the answers... I can tell you that I have hardly slept a single night since I discovered to be true what my suspicions told me for years; please don't allow yourself to ever be put into a position like this; these questions alone are destroying me...

PS: You know the smoke and smell was bad when children ask to go inside, instead of playing outside on a summer evening; they always ask me to take them to the creek to get their feet wet.

The Town of Boonville was illegally burning Collected Refuse (trash) by mixing it with brush to burn; they did this for a period of no less than 7 years, possibly more. Every month the Town of Boonville would Collect Brush and Bulk Collection items, they would dump it at the Town Garage and burn it. On the day that lead to them getting officially caught, the Boonville Town Supervisor lied to the Boonville Police Dept. failed to act in accordance with the laws, the Boonville Fire Dept. failed to do their sworn duty, and both the Boonville Mayor and Boonville Town Board have done botching but try to cover this up.

The Town of Boonville has exposed many people to Toxic fumes with their actions, they knew it was illegal to Burn the Collected Refuse (trash), that it would release toxic fumes, and they did this anyway, beyond the fumes that filled my house and yours, the ash and a Toxins left behind went straight into a creek that numerous cows drink from (people eat cows and drink their milk); this same creek runs to the Yadkin River, it carried these leftover Toxins into the River, Forsyth, Guilford, and Davidson Counties all get their drinking water from the Yadkin River, people eat fish from the Yadkin River; bottom feeders like Catfish would be rich in these toxins... Did you ingest any?
