Theo owns/owned Pirates Landing. Captain's Galley is a totally different place.

So, are you guys sure that the Kazakos' still own the restaurant? Because I think every other one they own is a Captain's Galley. I'm afraid it means new owners.....and a new restaurant...

Theo's is up the road from Captains Gallery it's down closer to the interstate exits. As far as I know Theo did Not ever own Captains Gallery.

Captains Galley was not owned by Theo....not sure who the owner is now that the name has changed.

If they closed I really hate that and had hoped they'd get their act together. That used to be a pretty decent Sea Food Place they had a pretty fair selection and the food was good for the area.
It used to stay packed and sometimes you had to wait to get a seat. I ate there for several years and always enjoyed it but in the last couple of years their food quality has gone down the hill. I never had any problems being waited on or getting a seat within a reasonable amount of time. I'm not knocking the place but I'm not going to sugar coat it either just for the sake of memory. IMO they've got a lot of room to improve their foods and get it out to their customers before it goes cold. I wish it would go back like it used to be when they served really decent food at a decent price.
If it is just a remodel I really hope they get their food quality remodeled too. Personally I don't want to see them close just improve some! They're in a very good location all they have to do is Serve Good Food provide a Clean atmosphere with the attitude of excellence for services.

Has anyone heard about them closing? Please don't bash the restaurant. Just wondering if what I heard was true.
