Heard about this. I live on Abbott and do not know of anyone who lost anything. However, all of us are being mindful. As for baiting and waiting. Not a good idea. Unless you are put in a life threatening situation the result may well not be to your liking. Best to call 911 and stay out of the way. Now if doors are kicked, broken or such other rules may apply. Word of caution. Use extreme force as a last resort only. I know how you feel and it sure makes you want to.

I guess the big lightning storm all night was good cover for one or more people to do some thievery.

I don't know how true this is as I can't find anything (so soon) posted online but I was told by someone who gets the NIXLE newsfeed from the PD (which I'm going to get lol) that 30+ cars were hit along Vestal St, Dudley Rd, and Abbot St.

So... if it's true and you live around there, keep an eye out.

Or better yet, darken your house, arm yourself, put a $10 bill on your dashboard and lure them in so we can take care of this problem like we should ;)

If I see anything or hear anything on my property that is suspicious, I will attack it with armed force as I can only assume their intent is to steal/vandalize and they are likely armed or outnumber me. (So to whoever is stealing... plan on being scraped off my driveway if you pick my place).

There is no reason for anyone to ever be on my property unless on a path to my front doorbell.
