Someone (fiesta, maybe?) commented in another thread that IP addresses could be obtained, and I stated that we stopped collecting them last year due to what I considered to be an abuse of power by the Yadkin Sheriff's office. This thread was created to discuss what I meant.
There are two issues being discussed in this thread:
1. Whether any crime had actually been committed in the first place, and if the police had any intention of filing charges; and
2. I was given a court order that I considered to be a violation of the First Amendment, and when I stated that I wanted to challenge the court order, the Detective and Sergeant handling the case threatened to arrest me, which I consider to be a further violation of NC law.

OK underdog2... i have read the thread and all i can say is that am disappointed in the County employee rude behavior. and him/her that everyone is referring to needs to be dealt with. for conduct unbecoming of a county employee. this is where may tax money is going WOW.

Its not hard if you start at the beginning. The gist of the thread is the sheriff has two barneys namely a sargent and a detective that abused their power. Their names are in the thread.

OK YOUR RIGHT.....but we dont need to be in the middle of a investigation. i dont wont to be: this person has done some things that are not to nice. but we dont have proof " and him /her is a county employee with high rank in the Department. and they dont care so way should WE.

For once JC is right as below, those who tried to cover up secrets will be exposed in the end. This thread seems to be over the exposure of some Woman's secrets, notice I said Woe-man not Lady.

people need to mind their own business. police have a job to do and in yadkin co. they do it very well .and for the young lady in question she may have a family this has affected . so stay out of it. the det- are doing there job just look at the news paper all the drug arrest . what does that tell you. that am right . so lets make this the end of this post.

The question stands...... for what reason would the ycsd owe him are her any favors . and makes me wonder way they owe this person favors, makes me very curious . could Be friends Etc- i guess only they know that .are could be that alot of people know alot more then they are saying.
