I know, right? The bike lane is completely stupid. Only a short stretch on 601 then nothing.
Never mind that the lanes are completely stupid now too. One lane becomes 2 without any warning on the other side of the intersection.
The turning lane is a joke around McDonald's/Sheets.
The turning lane under the bridge to go to Winston is completely messed up now.
Downtown, after the courthouse, the dividing line for traffic disappears for 20 feet then reappears but completely out of line from where it was before with no indication or warning for traffic.
And I do believe that the crews messed up the turn arrow going north on 601, left onto Lee avenue as it never works anymore. It did work before they put the final layer of blacktop on it.
So from all of that, whoever "approved" these changes (politician most likely?) SHOULD LOSE THEIR JOB. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE and TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR TAX DOLLARS.
Whew, that has been bottled up since they did all those changes so incompetently lol.

the bikes are invisible. part of the hundreds of thousands of dollars of your tax money was spent on cloaking devices for the bike riders

Looks like they are going to do the same thing on North Bridge St in Jonesville. They have started working on the road to tear it up and repave it in order to line it for the bicycle lane.

EXACTLY. It is just another example of someone sitting in an office thinking up dumb ideas. Now we have only ONE lane through most of downtown. Its stupid. Bikers ride Shacktown and Lee Ave. Not 601.

all that time, money and construction and traffic waiting in line while they worked on the roads to make that glorious bike lane in dowtown yadkinville and i havent seen the first bike or even a moped use it yet. smh!!!
