Grayson is blowing hot air...there are employees there that take pride in causing so much drama especially for the temps or new hires that it's almost impossible to survive..my advise is try someplace else..period

hum....I don't think they are making fun of new employee's or trying to piss them off, but that job has an imensely high turn over rate. I have a friend who works there and it's a hot, fast pace grueling job...but she's tougher than the lips on a woodpecker and does fine with it.....some just cannot do that kind of work but good luck getting the youth of our time to take a job there so they find themselves hiring the older folks....and the older folks find, to save them it's more than they can manage.

Please point out which portion of my posting was "hot air." I think that the diversity of the opinions and experiences shared from those who have/are working there serve as evidence that my posting was accurate. I stated, "A place of employment or job/occupation/career that one individual may enjoy and thrive at may be a place of employment or job/occupation/career that another may detest." From the posts herein, that seems like a fair assessment to me.

It is ironic when those who claim to be "looking for work" spend their energy looking for a reason not to work. I think that it is different when you're weighing out existing opportunities, but you haven't even put in an application yet, so unless you're currently employed and trying to decide whether or not to leave your current place of employment (which your original post seems to indicate the opposite), it's not like you are trying to decide the better of two alternatives. It just seems as though the question indicates that you are trying to find a reason to not even take the very first step. This may not be an accurate assessment of your personal goals (conscious or otherwise), but these types of postings often seem to me to indicate this.

With that being said, each individual's skills, personality, aptitude, values and experiences are different. A place of employment or job/occupation/career that one individual may enjoy and thrive at may be a place of employment or job/occupation/career that another may detest. Whether or not you will find fulfillment working at this or any other place of employment is ultimately about you and the company in question- not random peeps online or peeps that you have just recently met after moving to the area.

I have family that works at PVH in Jonesville and they really like it, also Pittsburgh glass in Elkin I think you

go online to apply at Pittsburgh glass. PVH is through temp. service but I think you will make as much with
pitts. glass or temp service as at lydall and I hear they are much better places, good look I hope you find a great job!

Best thing is , if you get the job, do like ballmoreswife and work there til you find something better, Or you may like it. What some people hate, some will like. But I would not let someones opinion , keep me form getting a paying job.

I worked there for 2 years, I'm not afraid of work. They treat you horribly and the pay sucks. I stayed until I found something better. You can find better people to work for with better pay.
