TBynum....tell him to hang onto the football next time and maybe you will have a better game!! Of course he's probably not been hit like that all year!! And I'll have to agree with Topflight on the over matched statement. His team was counting on him and he fumbled that responsibility what was it 4 or 5 times?? Then they had to rely on that QB who would drop back and just throw it up. Central better get it figured out quick because I guarantee Starmount is licking their chops wanting a piece of the turnover fest that was the WC offense!!

Bynum..i feel ya with the bad game sentiment...but you need to have a bad game against bad teams and still pull off the win...but if you get beat by a good team by 4 or 5 tds...then it seems that you were severely overmatched...and had a bad game to boot...

The Bynum Myth?? Exposed!! Really!! Have you ever heard of having a bad game before? Our Eagles had an off night. It happens. We have some Awesome coaches and some Awesome players. Please don't count is out b/c of one game.

The Bynum myth has been exposed tonight. Totally shut down by ACHS defense. He had multiple turnovers and probably didn't have 70 yds rushing. He was actually taken out of the game at the end. I guess he didn't want anymore of what Ashe
Was giving him. The mighty undefeated is no more. Ahhaha. Good game plan Ashe. We will see you Friday night.

Not sure he definitely has the size and speed but not much exposure. He's really good one of the better backs the Eagles have had in a while which is saying a lot......

Is Bynum getting any college looks? Obviously playing in a complete crap football conference doesn't help, but seems like I remember him at some track meets last season, he's got great speed.

East over North Central over West Starmount over Elkin Ashe over Alleghany
East is the team to watch right now. They have had a dramatic rise and are very hot right now. Adkins is now secure because of this run and can do things. His first test will be against his predecessor. North Wilkes is improved as they are more physical and are out of the flashy 2013 offense which was wrongly suited to the 2014 squad. They could surprise East if East isn't prepped because North has a record of that (3 years ago they played Central tough as **** for 3 quarters.)
However I see the cutting of Boles biting them this Friday as East wins.
Central's a huge ? mark right now. They are 4-0 granted that but they haven't played anyone really yet. The two Iredell schools stink, Surry Central's all over the place, and they barely beat a under-achieving Patton team. West meanwhile has came alive after a bad start. The bye week literally helped them as they have been a completely different team since as they destroyed Atkins quite easily and pulled a huge upset over North Iredell. They won by their desire and refusal to loose more than anything. If they play like that Friday they could shock everyone.
It will be down to if West can do the job on D. Central has far superior skill players while West's much bigger on the line. Good game potential here.
Starmount took a little while to get going but now they are. Forbush's coach getting big headed in the Elkin paper must have done wonders because they got the spark they needed and owned Forbush all over and brought that poise home against Thomasville last week. Elkin's struggling to say the least. They have none of the skill guys left from the last 4 years. Their best returning skill guy (Jamiles Hayes,) transferred to Walkertown, they don't have much besides the FB, TE, and one WR. If Starmount shows up early (which they haven't done the last 2 years,) then it will be a long one for the Elks.
Ashe finally got that win last week against underwhelming 4A Alexander Central who is 1-3. Not a surprise really if they won in week 2 or 3 yeah but I figured they would pull it off. Alleghany's struggling right now. They are young and not so big North Stokes pushed them around all night. I think Sessom's coaching will keep them tough but I don't see them winning vs Ashe. Should be a blowout. Ashe will be better tested the next few weeks. Their D is their weakness and has to get better. They were up 45-14 before Ashe started running to run the clock off which they couldn't do and Alexander came back and made a game out of it. If they do that against Central or East then it could be rough. Ashe's O is still good though but not as good as last year.
The conference is up for grabs really. No one has it in the bag yet. The next few weeks will help. Could see another multi champion year.

East (4-0) @ North (1-3) East Wins in a land slide. North will be lucky to score. 35-6 West (2-2)( @ Central (4-0) Central will move to 5-0 behind a win over West. 21-14 Elkin (0-4) @ Starmount (2-2) Starmount will demolish Elkin 42-10 Ashe (1-3) @ Alleghany (1-3) Ashe will win at Alleghany 42-14
East is definitely the surprise team in the conference this year. Central is undefeated but hasn't played anyone yet. Look for a close game Friday night! Starmount may be getting on track after a squeaker win against Thomasville (who is down this year) Ashe may be the scariest team in the conference given who they have played and getting a win at 4A Alexander Central last week hanging 45 points on them.

West will be Atkins's homecoming game . Atkins has gotten destroyed last two weeks by North Forsyth and a very good Glenn team (and have only scored 6 points all year,) so they will be excited to play a less athletic team. West will have the size advantage on Atkins but how West handles the athletes of Atkins will make or break them. Atkins has a very hard runner at RB and a decent DE, they run the spread and 3-3-stack. We play Atkins next week for homecoming (they replace North Wilkes who dropped us for Avery.)
Starmount's season depends on this game. If they can't beat Forbush it will be a rough year ahead, but if they do and do it convincingly (7+ points,) then they should be fine. Forbush didn't play N Wilkes that good. May be a sign ahead for Starmount.
Elkin and SC will be an ugly ball game. It'll come down to if Elkin's D can stop Central's option. The sophomores on Elkin's varsity did when they played JV last year. If Elkin comes out ready to play it will be close. Just depends on how demorlized they are after the MA game last week.
W Central should roll, Patton is in rough shape.
E Wilkes could be in a barn burner. They haven't faced a team who comes up straight and hits them in the mouth. N Stokes does that. One detriment for them is that they had to play on Tuesday. If they have properly studied this week then that will help them. The option isn't easy to stop unless you study hard. It'll be a ball control filled game. N Stokes doesn't throw it much.
Alleghany and S Stokes will be a barn-burner. Both are very down wing teams and don't have that many chances to win. This is South's best shot to do so besides next week when they play Bishop. Alleghany is in the same boat.
Avery and N Wilkes isn't until next week. Avery has played a very hard schedule so far, North W is the easiest team they have played so far. Expect Avery to do good but North W should compete. See them winning another game or two in conference.

West is horrible as usual. Doubt they win. They couldn't even keep it close with that Pine Lake Prep school.

West @ Atkins (Looks Like West Will win this one, probably in a shut out, 14-0)
Starmount @ Forbush (The Rams will start 0-3 losing 21-10)
Hibriten @ Ashe (Ashe continues their ridiculous non-conference schedule, loses 35-28 and will start 0-3)
Wilkes Central @ Patton (Dub-C with another easy win 42-7 against sub-par competition, 4-0 though)
Elkin @ Surry Central (This game never end, teams are equally bad, 14-13 Surry Central,0-4 start)
East @ North Stokes(This should be a really good game, good defenses, East wins 21-17, 3-0 start)
Alleghany @ South Stokes (Alleghany wins a squeaker 14-10, They will go to 1-3)
North Wilkes @ Avery ( Should be another close game, Avery wins 21-14, North moves to 1-3)

And badfly...state your conference affiliation...you sound bandwagon-ish..im sure its a conference with bigger schools or what not...doesnt really matter..1a..2a..3a..4a.. its all about the size of the area..so if 1a football is played in these parts..and 6a is played in the town youre from...then move to that boring site..instead flapping your gums..on a small ball site...and your conference of bandwagon...i mean choice is???

Corn-pone reject from Wilkes Central?
I sincerely hope that you do not pull for any other school in the MVC, redfly. Wilkes Central is basically a city school, serving residents from the Wilkesboro/North Wilkesboro area. Those 2 towns together encompass a population of nearly 8000 people. Wilkes Central is by far the wealthiest school in the conference and the most diverse. You must be some hick from Yadkin County. Starmount is full of a bunch of hooligan rednecks that have to come to Wilkes County to do their grocery shopping. Elkin? I hope not. That was laughable, so I hope you were kidding. I don't know much about the football teams and who cares? But that comment was ironic, considering it comes from someone who appears to be a resident of Yadkin no jobs County.
