Have you all forgotten a few years ago the same thing on 18 north. A tractor trailer hauling logs the truck turned over and the logs hit a Church Van there was 6 to 8 people on the Van it killed every one on theVan

It's not just the trucks, there has been another wreak since involving a single car. That is a bad stretch of road and folks don't know how to slow down.

It wasn't too long ago that someone was towing a car in Elkin that came loose and killed somebody.

What is it with these truck drivers in Elkin??

According to North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper Ned Moultrie, a tractor-trailer transporting logs overturned while driving south on Highway 601. The logs came loose and hit Hill's vehicle, fatally wounding her and a child passenger.
