Experience our History
458 W. Main Street
Hours: Settled in the mid- to late-1700s, the Jonesville History Center features a collection of artifacts, relics, exhibits and images from the storied history of the oldest town in Yadkin County and in the mid-Yadkin Valley. Specific exhibits include a quilt that received the blue ribbon at the first state Quilting Bee in 1853, various military displays honoring the men and women who have served -- from early militia to today's contemporary soldier, images from the iron ore mines that once dotted local landscape, a cast iron toy collection, a display of Native American weapons and implements and an array of collectibles from Jonesville's past as an early commercial and educational center.
