So..how do we go about getting our medical records from the doctors office?
is there some process to get our needed information or is it stuck in there forever?
What about the doctors? Are any of them practicing at another location?

This one Rob is by far the worst. The life blood of the county depended on that hospital not to mention the mess it has caused the EMS.
Both Alleghany and Ashe have had their problems but both seem at this time to have turned the corner.

Rob, if Alleghany and Ashe can support a hospital surely yadkin could. Get rid of the leadership from top to bottom and start over. You have been failed by Yadkin county.

Falls, if they open and ER they will have a place to stop on the way down and receive clot busting drugs. The hospital was never capable of aftermath treatment of a MI and they were all sent down the road.

So true......that hospital has been a life saver many times in the past. It's bad when your county cant support a small hospital.

You might get a free standing ED out of this deal in the end with some supporting physicians offices. There is not enough paying business in the area to support the hospital, that is why it closed. If the Physicians and other providers can't make a go of it without hospital support that tells you there is not enough business to support a larger effort.
For all the folks who bypassed the facility over the years because it was small or "country" now you don't get a choice, hope you make it on the drive to town while you're having a heart attack.

I hope and pray that the voters of Yadkin county will replace every one of the commissioners responsible for this. But I'm not holding my breath because this is Yadkin county we're talking about.

When you have a group of idiots that have gotten you into this position with the hospital it is perceived now as desperate and foolish since they allowed it to shut down. They will do anything now to get it open. Elkin or anyone else has yadkin by the balls.

Come out in the morning and pray with us at Yadkin Community Hospital, so we can get the hospital back open for the citizens of Yadkin and help get employees back to work. We need everyone support, tell everyone you know to come be with us
