I totally get what you are saying. That sort of thing has absolutely ruined GoWilkes. Of course there are government topics that affects us all and healthy discussion (and a place to do that like these forums) is great. But GoWilkes has a half dozen or so people that posts one new thread after the other criticizing the other camp. They find the most obsecure (and inaccurate) things they can find on the Internet that disparages the other side and they cut and paste the whole thing. It's pointless.

How can you tell a politician is lying? By the words coming out of their mouths.

Papa always said that politics will make a crook out of a honest man and as I grow older it seems that more and more politicians are becoming crookeder by the minute.

I am an independent. I refuse to be lumped in with those that care more about party loyalty than making America a better place for the generations to come. As a mother of 3, I want my kids to grow up as responsible citizens and part of that I believe is refusing to be lead by their nose. If we are to truly be informed we must take it upon ourselves to double and triple check the so called facts because more often than not, we are been fed a bunch of BS by the news media. One station in particular won the right to lie when they were taken to court over a story they falsified. So how are we to believe a news source that has the right to lie?

Much of the spewing comes from those away from the norm, with a bone to pick with society in general. Most of them announce that they are off base in the make up of their username and/or profile.

And they can sound off in forums without having to face up for their off the wall/off color comments.

A forum is a great place for a deviated soul with an egocentric personality.

If Yadkin in so bad, then they need to live else where like I did, near Miami, Washington, DC and work off shore outside of the U.S.

I can't stand someone spewing talking points from either side. Guess that's why I tend to ignore the political threads

What is your definition of crap? Can you describe it so that others would see it the same as you do?

I have been a long time reader of both forums and have seen clearly

the different views given by members. Its clear to me that certain members

are obviously conservative and vice versa liberal.

Also many of these voices seem to come from certain individuals with agendas. Who are these people with such strong opinions and why do they keep posting is my question?

(I know forums give opportunities for individuals to annonymously post but it annoys me that certain individiuals keep spewing the same crap)
