Free speech is a guarantee from government censorship. In all honesty, it was meant to protect political and religious speach.

But it is not protected in private capitalistic settings. We are protected from censorship by the Barney's. Not from censorship by a business owner. You should all be glad that I don't get drunk enough to make Jason a financial offer he could never refuse and buy his sites out just so I can screw with some of the idiots. He runs a very fair and honest system.

I guess I understand why Jason censored some of that post with the hint of violence, but not for the reasons he put forth (possibility of arrest and whatnot).

Some other thoughts first - the police can arrest you for whatever they want. It's an "arrest first, sort it out later" society we live in. so unless you like having permanent arrest records (not considering an actual conviction) on your life file it's stupid to communicate violent threats to someone. (But you can wish them to have a horrible accident and leave it up to your God if you want, for future reference).

even where were are supposed to be guaranteed free speech it's funny how there are certain things you can't say here or anywhere. But I understand this too for this other reason.

It's just boring. And there's no sense in getting people more riled up than they already are. It's called escalation and when people are talking about committing violent acts against others I guess it's time to draw the line and censor the speech. It does make sense, and... it's just boring to read or listen to.

Ask Jason about that. To me it doesn't look like something he did, but then I can't tell. Sometimes when it's an automatic thing like that looks to be, it could be a word that you accidently misspelled and it spelled something that is automatically blocked. I doubt Jason had any reason to delete who you would vote for. I'm going to vote for April, also.
