The article is not from Starmount in Yadkin County. Starmount colors are orange and blue and they do not play jv and varsity games on the same day. Also, Starmount does not have a prom king. I hope this clears this misunderstanding up.
So, the link that was posted here is for Starmont High School...not sure where that is, but any Yadkin County resident should know that Starmount's uniforms are not black and gold. I cannot find any information on this year's homecoming. However, being pissed because of who the queen is, stupid. There are more important things in life, than a plastic crown and 15 minutes of glory.
Had to go to you tube to see what the lyrics to the song you posted....Still doesn't make sense... unless maybe the lyrics are referring to the new Homecoming Queen and maybe the guy who dumped you... Help us make sense of this...

Sounds like someone is upset that they didn't get voted homecoming queen. That's o.k. You'll grow up someday and realize that it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. What matters is how you conduct yourself, how you treat others, and how you can improve the life of those you come in contact with. Perhaps this wasn't actually rigged. I don't know who won or anything, but perhaps she has already discovered the secret and people actually like her. Who knows?

Iwork4it you seem very confused. Are you talking about something that happened at the middle school? The Homecoming Queen at SHS certainly does not fit your description.
The Yadkin County School Administration should launch an official inquiry into the atrocious results of this rigged event. The Starmount High School Staff behind this should be fired for inappropriate conduct.
There is no possible chance of the outcome ever happening without voter fraud or being rigged for a special needs individual? You know when they give it to a mentally challenged girl (Downs Syndrome). If that's the case I'll rest with ease. She looks the part. She doesn't go to Starmount. Her boyfriend is most definitely challenged so it may be possible.
None of the students voted for her.
