i heard the state was taking rock samples around the area. It has something to do with the mountain to sea trail.

That rock quarry has been closed for years.

Softball,

There is a gun range at Baltimore/Dinkins Bottom Road and a rock quarry off of Speer Bridge Road. within 1/4- 1/2 mile of Hwy421 at Speer Bridge Road. Maybe some test blasts for the rock quarry.
