just have to price out different places and then get references of their work. drive by and see what they did. that's the best way to judge.
if you DIY then I'd stay away from that shady place along old us 421 east from town center by unifi road.
I've had great experiences from the other place west of center along same road, next to that small car lot. can't remember the name of the place but good attitudes and basic stock for most of what you want to do.

My father and I run a small outfit, we currently do residential and church landscaping. Our rates are well below the big oufits, we do mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, mulch/brick chips etc, spraying, gutters etc. We still have a couple available spots if interested, PM me.
