Google in "home made snake repellent", and look that over. I don't think it is worthwhile to buy the snake repellent stuff sold in stores, because from comments from users of such, they just do not work. Keep yard mowed, neat, etc. Snakes love grass, stacked wood, etc.

Don't kill blacksnakes. They will eat copperheads. Check it on YouTube.

I recently moved to east bend. Does anyone know way they are so meny copperheads
I have killed 3 close to my house in a month's time . no black snakes I have been in western nc. All my life and not encountered this meny in 50 yrs.
