Did I read correctly that Breakfast Time closes at 3? That's tragic, the whole area will look dead to newcomers. Just like Biscuitville did in Wilkes (before they closed, of course).

I'm surprised, though. Every time I went to Captain's Galley it was pretty busy.

It has closed......was by there today and new sign shows a name of a restaurant I had never heard of.
I believe it was Breakfast something......anyway, things do change often.

If you will look below, you will see the name.....

Captain s Galley closed and an all day breakfast bar is what will be there when it reopens.

I am sorry to hear the Captains Galley is going away. I have not been but I hear it was a good place. I did hear some good news though. Word is they are going to put a Cap'n Greg's Original Original Calabash Restaurant in Harmony. I have been to the one in Calabash NC back in 2004 and it was the best seafood I have ever had. You are going to want to try the fried flounder.

It appears as if the Captain lost it's hook.

That "some work" included a name and sign change so....yea. I'm fairly certain that it's no longer Captain's Galley.

WOW this post is A.D.D all over it... If you are not sure what is being talked about why put your two cents in on it.. I did notice Monday that it looked like they were doing some work on the building when I was down that way.

Theo owns/owned Pirates Landing. Captain's Galley is a totally different place.

Right. The Kazakos's own all the Captains Galley's. Theo's last name is Kakouras.
