People need to remember and look at Obama's early association with people like Bill Ayers. Now there's one Socialist goon from way back. He's nothing but a pure Socialist thats called for the overthrow of the system since way back in the 60's and 70's. He's one of Obama's mentors and is probably dancing with glee when he sees what his student is achieving.

osmosis, I agree. Everything seems to be so messed up, and getting worse. I expect for the POS in Washington, DC to really crank things up now. He hates this country and wow!--Does it show!

Osmosis; You need to do a little research before you talk about our "good healthcare system" Look into the major world countries and the percentage of Gross Domestic Product spent on healthcare, then take a look at life expectancy in that same country and compare it to the US.

The ACA won't fix our broken healthcare system, I don't believe that the US public nor our elected officials have the guts to fix it either. We will be unable to continue to sustain the system as it is now with over 18% GDP being spent on healthcare.

bddumptrk- Anyone that can't see he's trying to destroy the middle-class is blind. Everything he does is designed to bring it's downfall. Remember his Spread the Wealth statement. When he's done there will only be 2 classes. The poor and the rich that control the politicians.Destroying our good healthcare system was one of the easiest ways to achieve this. No jobs, high prices, no future. It's easier to suck the Government Teat.

Osmosis that is one of the best, most truest statements, I have read on this site. The Democrats/Obama have ruined the American Dream for the one's that have worked their butts off all their life and now we can't even afford the co-pay because of their socialism system.

Osmosis.

I am not disagreeing. Like I said, if it was up to me I wouldn't have that law either even though I am benefiting personally.

I was just pointing out that it is making insurance more affordable for some. If it was up to me I would have started with a few parts of it not be able to deny pre existing conditions and not being able to cancel a persons coverage when they get sick if they are still paying premiums. Then I would have allowed companies to opporate across state lines in order to increase competition. See what that did and then move on to the next thing if necessary. Turning the whole system on its ear overnight caused havoc.

Fiesta That's just like me having to pay the same insurance premium as someone that has 2-3 DUI's. That's the socialist agenda. Everybody's the same. Even though your healthy you pay for those that aren't. That's just like because you work and pay taxes you support those that don't. I know that before these goons took over and decided to destoy the system I had good insurance with resonable premiums and co-pays. Now I can't even afford to pay the co-pays if I'm sick. I worked hard all my life. I was promised a decent retirement with health insurance. If I get sick now I'll go bankrupt even though I owe very little. I hate Obama, the democrats and what they've done to this country and the middleclass. Everything they do is designed to move us to socialism.

There are a lot of people getting help here. I am an example. Let me preface this by saying I am getting no financial support from the government here.

I have diabetes and take about $800 in prescriptions per month. I left my previous employer January 2013 to start my own company. They were a large employer and had great insurance. My COBRA payment for full family with about $1650 per month. Just for me insurance in the private market was going to be about $1200. What the exchanges did was create a larger risk pool for each person to buy in to. That is why insurance provided by a large company is cheaper than an unhealthy individual can buy. My insurance is now about $1700 for top tier full family using the exchanges.

I know it isn't right that healthy people are paying more now because they are being included in the larger risk pool with the unhealthy. I wouldn't support ACA if it was up to me even though I personally benefit. All I am saying are there is a lot of people like me benefiting from this program. Some of us wouldn't be able to get insurance at all if it wasn't for the law.

The ACA is the biggest crime ever perpitrated on the America public. It was the intent of the Socialists to destroy our system and push social medicine to the front in the very beginning. It started when Hillary tried to push it over on us. We will never rebound from this in our lifetime. Most people will die either indigent or bankrupt.

The ACA does not guarantee care, no insurance policy does. Unless you are in a Hospital Emergency Department any private healthcare provider may deny you care. In the ED they are only obligated to perform a Medical Screening Exam and provide stabilizing treatment for life or limb threatening emergencies.

Your private physician may deny you care if you don't pay your deductible and co-payment. This was true before the ACA and the ACA has done nothing to change that other than to make folks think they were guaranteed care.

"So along with a lack of affordability, there isn't full patient protection under ObamaCare, either. Patients can still be denied care".
