Central will lose the battle up front and if that can equate to points for WW, they have a great chance of pulling off something they haven't done in 10 years, a win. Central will bring more athletes to the game than WW but that doesn't equal success. Central will have to execute, especially defensively, to win the ball game. I support Central and I am certainly not sandbagging because anything can happen in a rivalry game. On average, West wins 2-3 games out of 10 so you have to give them a shot since they are much improved on both sides of the ball.

According to MaxPreps the two teams have played much different quality of opponents. It's the truth, but WW's opponents are combined 6-13 while WC's opponents are 9-8. Throw out the common team (N. Iredell) and those records are 6-9 and 9-4. I wonder if that makes a difference in our expectations for Friday?
