If that is true then I applaud the West coaching staff and administration for doing the right thing. It serves as an example for other schools to follow.

Starmount vs. Ashe

West JV had 2 players kicked off the team for stealing beer a few weeks ago at a football camp.

Would you mind explaining why you think WC will be better this year. They are bringing in a new coach, many new starters and are super young and inexperienced. Yeah they have the Williams Kid At Running Back but he can't carry the team when you know hrs the only threat. I feel bad for the kid. He deserves to be on a better team. He is good.

Wilkes Central for varsity

It will be a toss up between Central, North and East on JV. They all three look good but just depends on how many are pulled up to varsity. The next 4 years should be interesting with these groups. West will jump into to mix when they all play together as Junior's and Senior's in a few years due to several playing Varsity now. If they continue to shine and play as a team East JV's will be hard to guard.

Who do you folks think will be the county champs on varsity/ jv for Football in wilkes county when it's all said and done?
