The Small Business Center of Surry Community College and the Yadkin County Chamber of Commerce will offer a free seminar titled “Setting Up Quickbooks Pro for Your Small Business” at the Yadkin Center, located at 4649 Highway 601 in Yadkinville. This seminar will meet on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00pm.

Top Ten Reviews stated “Quickbooks Pro is still the reigning leader in easy-to-use accounting software for small business owners who need to manage a wide variety of complex tasks through one piece of software”. This seminar covers the important basics necessary to setting up a company data file in Quickbooks. Topics include: the chart of accounts; setting up users; understanding the basics of financial statements; backing up data files; and an open question and answer session.

Please note this is an introductory seminar. Semone Brisson will be the instructor for the session. Ms. Crowell has operated an accounting business in Salisbury for over 20 years and has been a presenter/instructor at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College for over 25 years.
